Schoolhouse Fare

UpdateInstead of ordering a month out, menus are now available for ordering up to 7 days prior to the lunch date! This means that families can order on a weekly basis.

We are pleased to announce a partnership with Schoolhouse Fare to provide hot lunches at our cafeteria for the 2011-2012 school year. This program will replace our school’s existing lunch program, although milk will still be available for 25¢.

Schoolhouse Fare is a company providing popular lunch choices where ordering fun, nutritional lunches is just a few clicks away. Our collaboration with Schoolhouse Fare allows students to choose from a greater variety of food items and gives parents a convenient way to order.

This is how it works: Each day of the week, a different restaurant menu is available with a variety of choices.  The ala carte menu provides you with the flexibility of ordering for as many or as few days as you choose. Your student’s pre-ordered lunch will be delivered to the school by the restaurant and each order is individually packaged and labeled with the student’s name and grade.

Schoolhouse Fare Frequently Asked Questions

  • As always, students are open to pack their lunch or bring items of their choice in addition to a Schoolhouse Fare selection
  • Initially we will be starting with the following restaurants and prices average from $2-$5 per item. New restaurants will be added throughout the school year.
    • Boston Market – chicken, meatloaf, turkey, beef brisket, mac and cheese & sides
    • Chick-fil-A – chicken sandwiches, nuggets, wraps, salads & fruit cups
    • Donato’s Pizza – pizza, wings, chicken strips, subs, salads, breadsticks & fruit cups
    • Doodle’s – chicken, beef or shrimp with steamed rice, lo mein, satay chicken strips, soup & steamed rice
    • Potbelly Sandwich Works – sandwiches, salads, chili, chips & fruit
  • Ordering is easy via the website, with payment by Visa, Master Card, Discover, Debit Card (w/Visa or M/C Logo) and personal checks.  Please note if paying by credit/debit card a $15 minimum order is required or a $1 transaction fee is added to your order. *Ohio state sales tax of 6.5% is NOT applied.
  • Orders are placed between the 15th and the 24th of the month prior and the following months are combined for your convenience: August/September, December/January and May/June.
  • If your student has food allergies, Schoolhouse Fare has contacts for all restaurants and you may contact each restaurant to discuss your student’s individual needs.
  • There is no refund if a student is not at school due to illness, unless Schoolhouse Fare is notified 24 hours in advance.  In addition, if a student is diagnosed with a prolonged illness and will be missing several days of school, you can notify Schoolhouse Fare to cancel the remaining orders for the duration of the illness.
  • Refunds are issued for weather cancellations.
  • PLEASE register with Schoolhouse Fare even if you are unsure if you will purchase lunches for your student, new restaurants will be added throughout the school year.
  • The August menu is open for ordering August 1 – August 10
  • The September menu is open for ordering August 1 – August 24


Cardinal Pacelli Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1% white and chocolate milk will still be available, as well as water. Milk is sold for 25¢ separately and is not included in the price of the lunch as it has been in the past.
  • In support of healthy eating, the ala carte snacks and ice cream will no longer be available. A “sweet” option (i.e. cookie, brownie, fruit cup, etc.) is offered from select restaurants.
  • In the event a student has forgotten his lunch – on-site options of peanut butter & jelly and microwavable mac and cheese are available.  The cost for a forgotten lunch is $3 and payment is due the following day.
