5th Grade Students Dissect Owl Pellets

Owl pellets are a record of what owls have eaten, and our 5th grade students study them to learn more about the owl and the ecosystem in which they live. When our students dissect owl pellets, they can see and identify the tiny bones from that owl’s meal, they can learn about the owl’s diet, and learn about the owl’s place in the food web.
