Owl pellets are a record of what owls have eaten, and our 5th grade students study them to learn more about the owl and the ecosystem in which they live. When our students dissect owl pellets, they can see and identify the tiny bones from that owl’s meal, they can learn about the owl’s diet, and learn about the owl’s place in the food web. We acknowledge the outstanding effort and enthusiasm displayed by the 7th grade students who participated in the LaSoupe cooking classes. Each student demonstrated remarkable engagement while learning new skills, like chopping and showed respect throughout the session. We were particularly impressed by those who stepped out of their comfort zones, willingly trying new foods, even when faced with ingredients they were not fond of or dishes that looked different. They did a wonderful job representing Cardinal Pacelli! Click here to see more.
